The Researcher's Guide

The thesis statement of this blog is asking what I learned about research that helped me with my paper and will help me in the future. I learned several things about research from writing this paper. One thing I learned was about siting a person’s sources and resources for a paper. This can be very useful not only for an instructor but for the writer themselves if they want to go over material they have researched at a later date. Also I learned that it is very important to use several different sources to gather your information from, such as articles, periodicals, books, or web based sources. Learning how to properly do research is vitally important when someone grows up because researching a topic that you are interested in or need more information on is a very practical life skill. It can help you do everything from helping your child with their homework to planning a vacation you are going to take by planning flights, hotels, activities, meals, transportation, and several other factors. I feel that I was able to satisfactorily research my article and provide a descent analytical review of it and I hope this skill will help me later in life. I am sure I will use the knowledge I gained from this assignment in many of my future schemes and endeavors. This concludes my post.

  1. I really learned a lot about how to research as well. I really learned how to utilize the university library's databases. I think this opened up a whole new world of research for me and I hope it will help me with my papers.
